This comparator should only be used with a pair of good quality headphones.

We recommend using the Sennheiser HD 560S for their flat frequency response.

Phono cartridges usually need a running-in period to reach their full sonic potential.

That’s why we used the Clearaudio Break-In Test Record for at least 40 hours before doing the recordings.

All gains are matched to +/-1dB so that only the sound signature is heard.

Our comparator gives you a sense of the sonic differences, but performance in the real world will always be better.
