With the Strato E, Kaleidescape brings its premium cinematic experience within reach of more movie enthusiasts. A movie player designed for those who want to discover a new way to enjoy home theater, where exceptional playback quality and the pleasure of owning movies take centre stage.
The Strato E delivers reference-quality 4K video playback, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. Unlike streaming platforms, which must adjust their bitrate according to network conditions, Kaleidescape prioritizes high-bitrate video files downloaded directly to the player. This approach preserves more detail, nuance and subtlety in the image while ensuring consistently smooth playback.
The audio experience follows the same philosophy. With support for lossless Dolby Atmos, the Strato E delivers soundtracks that preserve their full richness and dynamics. Dialogue gains presence, ambience becomes more enveloping, and sound effects take on a remarkably immersive dimension. A difference that allows a true home theater system to reveal its full potential.
What fundamentally sets Kaleidescape apart from traditional platforms, however, is the ability to build your own digital movie collection. Through the Kaleidescape Movie Store, enthusiasts can purchase their favourite films and download them locally rather than relying entirely on the constantly changing catalogues of streaming services. Once downloaded, movies can be enjoyed without interruptions or buffering.
The Strato E features 480 GB of internal SSD storage, providing space for approximately six high-bitrate movies. It operates entirely on its own, making it an excellent introduction to the Kaleidescape ecosystem. Its intuitive interface makes navigating your collection effortless and brings back the simple pleasure of choosing a movie for the evening.
For those looking to go further, the Strato E can also be paired with a Kaleidescape Terra or Terra Prime server. This upgrade allows access to a much larger movie library and makes it possible to integrate multiple players throughout the home. An architecture that can naturally grow alongside your needs and ambitions.
Its exceptionally compact design and quiet operation make it easy to integrate into virtually any installation. Measuring just 16.3 cm wide and deep, it can be discreetly placed inside an AV cabinet or behind a television using an optional mounting bracket.
What we particularly appreciate at Audiophile Experts is that the Strato E allows enthusiasts to discover the true Kaleidescape philosophy without immediately investing in a complete system. It delivers the essentials that make this platform so different: remarkable audiovisual quality, a personal movie library and an experience entirely dedicated to the pleasure of cinema.
A new way to experience home theater. Kaleidescape quality, the pleasure of owning your movies and an experience designed to grow with you.
