With the Q7 Meta, KEF offers a floorstanding speaker that brings together the essential qualities of a true high-fidelity system: balanced sound reproduction, precise imaging and acoustic engineering designed to preserve musical emotion. A particularly appealing choice for those who want to enjoy both their music and movies.
Its three-way design combines two 6.5-inch bass drivers with a 12th-generation Uni-Q array, featuring a 4-inch midrange driver and a 0.75-inch tweeter. This architecture allows each driver to focus on a specific frequency range, promoting detailed and cohesive sound reproduction.
Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™) also plays an essential role. By absorbing up to 99% of unwanted sound coming from the rear of the tweeter, it helps reduce resonances and preserve greater detail and naturalness. Combined with Uni-Q technology, it promotes consistent sound dispersion throughout the room.
For low frequencies, KEF uses two 6.5-inch hybrid aluminum bass drivers, designed to provide substantial excursion while maintaining excellent control. The bass reflex design allows the Q7 Meta to reproduce the foundation of music with depth and precision.
What makes the Q7 Meta particularly interesting to us is its ability to integrate just as naturally into a dedicated stereo music system as it does into a multichannel home theater. Its acoustic consistency with other models in the Q Meta series makes it easy to build a complete, expandable system without sacrificing the essential qualities of musical reproduction.
Its elegant silhouette, refined finishes and magnetic grilles complete a design where performance and simplicity find their balance.
Thoughtful acoustic engineering, remarkable musical balance and the versatility to fully experience every recording.
