Since the introduction of the first Phantom in 2015, Devialet has continuously challenged the conventions of high-fidelity audio. With the Phantom Ultimate 108 dB, the French manufacturer takes this philosophy even further, bringing together a decade of acoustic innovation in a speaker whose design is as bold as its performance.
The Phantom Ultimate 108 dB stands out for its ability to reproduce music with a sense of scale and physical intensity that seems to defy its dimensions. With 1,100 watts of total amplification power and a maximum sound pressure level of 108 dB SPL, it delivers impressive dynamic headroom, bringing even the most demanding recordings to life while preserving their most delicate nuances.
At the heart of this performance lies the latest generation of ADH® (Analog Digital Hybrid) technology, combining the musical qualities of analog amplification with the efficiency and control of digital technology. This architecture delivers remarkably precise sound reproduction, allowing every detail to find its natural place, even as the music becomes more intense.
Low-frequency performance is one of Phantom's most impressive signatures. Thanks to the exclusive HBI® (Heart Bass Implosion) technology and its two side-mounted woofers, the Phantom Ultimate 108 dB reaches an astonishing 14 Hz. Bass is no longer simply heard; it becomes a physical presence, conveying the full energy of a kick drum, the depth of a double bass or the impact of a cinematic soundtrack.
SAM® (Speaker Active Matching) technology further enhances this architecture by precisely adapting the audio signal to the acoustic characteristics of the speaker drivers. It contributes to faithful, controlled reproduction while maintaining musical balance across an exceptionally wide frequency range of 14 Hz to 35 kHz.
Connectivity meets the expectations of modern audio systems. Compatible with AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready, the Phantom Ultimate 108 dB provides direct access to leading music platforms. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Ethernet connectivity and an optical input offer additional integration flexibility. The Devialet app makes setup and personalization simple and intuitive.
On its own, the Phantom Ultimate 108 dB delivers a musical presentation of remarkable scale. Paired with a second speaker, it becomes a true stereo system, creating a wider soundstage, more precise instrument separation and a particularly immersive sense of space. It can also be integrated into a multiroom system, bringing music throughout the home.
Its aesthetics are inseparable from its identity. Phantom's sculptural lines, distinctive side panels and the characteristic movement of its woofers make it instantly recognizable. The Deep Forest finish, with its dark, organic tones and ultra-matte surface, brings a particularly elegant personality, while its mirror-effect side panels create a striking contrast.
A true favourite at Audiophile Experts, the Phantom Ultimate 108 dB perfectly embodies our vision of a high-fidelity experience that is Premier · Different · Unique. We particularly appreciate its ability to deliver a deeply immersive musical experience from a single speaker, without requiring the traditional components of an audio system. An approach that goes beyond simply reproducing music, restoring its presence, energy and emotional impact.
Power you can feel, precision that reveals every nuance and a design unlike anything else. The ultimate expression of the Devialet Phantom experience.
