With the KC62, KEF pushes the boundaries of what a compact subwoofer can achieve. An innovative design that delivers deep, precise bass without requiring a large enclosure in your living space.
At the heart of the KC62 is KEF's patented Uni-Core technology, which allows two 6.5-inch drivers to share a single magnetic system. This ingenious architecture significantly reduces the subwoofer's size while allowing substantial driver excursion. The two drivers operate in opposition to minimize mechanical vibrations within the enclosure.
Despite measuring approximately 10 inches on each side, the KC62 features 1,000 watts RMS of Class D amplification and a frequency response extending down to 11 Hz (±3 dB). Its design is engineered to reproduce low frequencies with depth and control, whether you're enjoying music or home theater.
Integration has also been carefully considered. With five preset EQ modes, the KC62 can be optimized for different placements: free space, near a wall, in a corner, inside a cabinet or in apartment mode.
Its RCA and speaker-level inputs make it easy to integrate with a wide variety of audio systems. Compatibility with the KEF KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter, sold separately, provides even greater flexibility during installation.
What makes the KC62 particularly interesting to us is its ability to enhance a high-fidelity system without compromising aesthetics or available space. Its beautifully rounded aluminum enclosure reflects a design philosophy where technology and elegance complement each other naturally.
Deep bass, ingenious technology and a remarkably discreet presence.
