With the E-Sub e112, JL Audio demonstrates that a subwoofer can combine remarkable precision, deep bass extension, and tremendous power without compromising the qualities essential to faithful music reproduction.
At the heart of its design is a 12-inch long-excursion driver featuring a mechanical architecture that sets it apart from conventional designs. Its widely spaced, three-element suspension system, combined with JL Audio's exclusive DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) technology, promotes stable, linear movement while reducing distortion, even under demanding conditions.
Its 1,500-watt Class D amplifier, paired with a sealed enclosure, delivers bass with exceptional authority and control. Capable of reaching frequencies around 20 Hz with impressive output capability, the E-Sub e112 has what it takes to reproduce both the subtle nuances of musical instruments and the physical impact of cinematic soundtracks.
The E-Sub e112 also features a true two-way active crossover, allowing for seamless integration into a high-fidelity stereo system. Its thoughtful design and conveniently located top-mounted controls reflect JL Audio's attention to detail.
What makes the E-Sub e112 a true favorite at Audiophile Experts, however, is its ability to maintain exceptional bass precision while offering tremendous power reserves. Our previous experience with JL Audio, the brand's reputation, and the quality of its engineering naturally contributed to our decision to incorporate a pair of these subwoofers into our Immersia home theater demonstration room.
The precision of a true high-fidelity subwoofer. The depth and power that home theater demands.
