At a time when many components try to do everything, the DP-470 takes a different approach: do less, but do it with the level of attention Accuphase is known for.
At its heart is a dedicated CD mechanism engineered for precise, quiet operation. Accuphase pays particular attention to the rigidity of the mechanism, its low position within the chassis, vibration control, and the stability of disc rotation.
The digital-to-analog conversion receives the same level of attention. The DP-470 uses a four-circuit MDS+ architecture, combining four ES9026PRO DACs with ANCC — Accuphase Noise and distortion Canceling Circuit technology to further reduce noise and distortion, even at extremely low signal levels.
