Behind that experience is some particularly sophisticated engineering. Accuphase combines a highly rigid SACD/CD transport designed for precise disc reading with its four-circuit MDS+ D/A converter and ANCC technology, developed to further reduce noise and distortion.
But the DP-570S is much more than an exceptional SACD/CD player. Its digital inputs also allow other sources to take advantage of its D/A converter.

Used as a network transport, the Wattson leaves digital-to-analog conversion to the DP-570S. The result genuinely surprised us: we hear the same coherence, natural presentation and absence of artifice that we appreciate so much when playing discs.
It is a combination we particularly recommend for those who want to add network playback to an Accuphase system without introducing another visually dominant component or disrupting the visual harmony of the system.
