With the DMP-A8 Gen 2, Eversolo demonstrates that a versatile component can also deliver a genuinely audiophile design without compromising on functionality.
At its heart is a sophisticated digital-to-analog conversion architecture combining the AK4191EQ and AK4499EXEQ chips, based on AKM's Velvet Sound technology. This design separates digital processing from analog conversion to preserve signal accuracy and the finest details of every recording.
Unlike many network streamers that rely on digital volume control, the DMP-A8 Gen 2 features a fully balanced analog preamplifier with R-2R volume control. This allows it to connect directly to a power amplifier or active speakers.
Its large 8.6-inch touchscreen, intuitive interface and compatibility with Qobuz, TIDAL, Spotify Connect and numerous other streaming services make exploring music particularly enjoyable.
What we appreciate most is its ability to become the true centrepiece of a modern high-fidelity system. With analog and digital inputs, HDMI eARC, SFP network connectivity and a dedicated subwoofer output, it integrates naturally into both existing systems and entirely new installations.
A true favourite that brings together musical performance, versatility and everyday enjoyment.
