With the Profile 8479, BDI demonstrates that an entertainment cabinet can be much more than a simple TV stand. A design where elegant furniture meets the technical requirements of a true high-fidelity and home theater system. Created by designer Matthew Weatherly, it combines contemporary lines with inspiration from mid-century modern furniture.
Its four solid wood-slat doors are among its most distinctive features. They conceal electronic components while allowing airflow, infrared signals and sound to pass through. A particularly appealing solution for discreetly integrating a center channel speaker or soundbar.
What truly sets the Profile 8479 apart, however, is the attention given to equipment installation. Adjustable tempered glass shelves, removable rear panels and integrated cable management make it easier to organize components while preserving the cabinet's clean appearance. Its flow-through ventilation system also helps dissipate heat generated by electronic equipment.
A dedicated center section designed to accommodate a soundbar allows it to be integrated directly into the furniture without compromising the visual harmony of the installation. Concealed wheels provide convenient access to connections, while the integrated levelling system ensures a stable and refined setup.
Measuring 208 cm wide, 60 cm high and 51 cm deep, the Profile 8479 offers generous space for multiple audiovisual components. It can also accommodate televisions up to 85 inches, while maintaining an elegant and balanced silhouette.
Crafted from solid wood, genuine wood veneers and tempered glass, it reflects BDI's commitment to both durability and aesthetics.
What makes the Profile 8479 particularly interesting to us is its ability to conceal the technical complexity of an audiovisual system behind a truly elegant piece of furniture. An approach that allows you to fully enjoy music and movies without turning your living room into an equipment room.
Timeless design, intelligent engineering and the elegance of a perfectly integrated audiovisual system.
