DragonFly Black | USB DAC | Headphone Amplifier
The DragonFly Black DAC converter consumes less power than the previous DragonFly model to process audio files to a 24-bit depth and a 96-KHz sampling rate, with a PIC32MX microcontroller from Microchip. Its 1.2-volt amplifier powers most headphones, but it also allows a connection to the preamplifier, the integrated amplifier or receiver of an audio system. To use it with your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet, add a USB adapter, plug in your headphones and press “Play”.
The DragonFly Black USB DAC reads MP3 files and high-resolution files as well as music coming from streaming services, computer software or compact discs. Also, a software for Mac or PC makes it compatible with protocols and applications that will be developed in the future. The Audioquest DragonFly Black USB converter for PC and mobile device uses the headset amplifier and the analog-volume control that were made famous on the DragonFly v1.2 model. Its ESS 9010 Sabre digital-to-analog converter chip from ESS Technology, with an 32-bit architecture, is provided with a minimum-phase filter. Its converter performs asynchronous data transfer to ensure the integrity of digital timing.Whether sitting or moving, the Audioquest DragonFly Black USB DAC will give wings to your music!
